The New DAO
In 2008, DAO Records was born. By 2009, not only had DAO Records grown beyond the name DAO Records to DAO Music Group, but we radically changed the way record labels dealt with artists. By the end of 2009, DAO Music Group had managed to ink a deal with Interscope for distribution, and had an incredible roster of artists.
In 2012, DAO Music Group takes the next step in its own revolution.
In 2012, DAO Music Group's will be changing yet again! Be sure to visit our NEW website in March of 2012 for details of how DAO Music Group will radically change how music is bought, and sold!
DMG CEO had worked hard to make a major change for the label to accomodate selected talented recording artists. These selected artists will be giving a chance to experience single and album submissions for possible award recommendation. DMG will be responsible for these submissions and the artists entire project after the artist complete their single and album package.
This is a big step for DAO Music Group and looking forward to be the next Grammy nominee for Best New Artist, producer, or songwriter.
DMG will also be the music composer of a new featured film and tv series!

"Breakout"
Laya is a remarkable young lady who surprised everyone including her family. This very shy 11 year old made an amazing overcome of stage fright and shyness when she decided she wanted to act, sing, and play basketball! In such a short time, she stunned her vocal coach after training with her in a 2 months time and was selected to perform in a school talent show!
Laya has trained with Grammy Award Winner Vocal Coach of Destiny's Child "Survivor" and Marietta, GA vocal coach Judy Leonard studios! Even though her parents are in the music industry, she wanted to do things her way and so she did! She has her own writer and producers for her first single to be released this spring/summer called "Breakout", written by east coast songwriter who brings a touch of medicine to writing Mike "M.D. Drizzy" Drake and platinum producer, Tommy Gunz! She is loved by those she come in contact with, so watch out for this young lady!
DAO Music Group and ALW Media Music will cover all cost of her project!
